16U Red Takes on NAFA Nationals!

Our 16U Red team travelled to Coon Rapids, Minnesota for NAFA Nationals at the end of July. The girls found success and had a great time!

For the week of July 27-July 31, our 16U Red team, lead by Coach Emma, travelled to Coon Rapids, MN to participate in the NAFA Nationals tournament. The girls played great softball, and faced some tough competition. Overcoming two early losses to Wisconsin Fear and a team from Manitoba, Canada, 16U Red came out swinging with two wins on day two! 16U Red defeated a team from Sioux Falls, SD 10-4 before beating a Bloomington, MN team 10-3. The girls battled hard in their 8am game on day three, but lost 2-3 against Seymour Flames.

The girls had a blast trading pins with other teams and showing camaraderie to all the other participants. It was a successful endcap on a great season! The 16U Red girls will be moving up to 18U next season and are excited to bring a new competitive age level to the Revolution!
