Wisconsin Winters are long, and there is nothing better than a chance to play ball in the middle of January! This past weekend, after months of indoor practice, three of our Revolution teams made the trip up to the Wisconsin Dells to participate in the Dells Dome Championship. Our 12U team, 14U Voliva team, and 18U Capuano team took to the turf to get some game play in while the snow is still on the ground.
Both our 12U team and our 14U Voliva team are comprised of players who are all new to Revolution this year, and they did great! Our 12U team placed third in their division, after winning 11-1, tying 3-3, winning 9-6, and a tough loss in the semi-finals. Our 14U Voliva and 18U teams got some great play experience and practice, facing some really tough teams and getting back into the groove of live play!
We are proud of our Revs players for competing against talented teams and holding their own! We can’t wait for the tournament season to start! Go Revs!
