Madison Revolution is hosting make-up tryouts at the 10U, 14U, and 16U age divisions on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 5-7pm. Please register using the above form if you plan to attend the make-up tryout. At this time, our 12U rosters are full.
Madison Revolution hosts tryouts every year at the end of July and Early August. We evaluate players on skill, attitude, and effort. We typically determine how many teams we are able to field each year based on tryout registration and coach availability. Tryout Registration is currently OPEN.
Sometimes, roster spots may open up throughout the season. Please email madisonrevolutionfastpitch@gmail.com to inquire about the possibility of open roster positions.
16U Midwest Team (2025-26)
At the 16U level, players have the option to tryout for a position on the Midwest team. This team will play at a high level, competing in A/B tournaments and showcase events in the Midwest region. The focus of this team will be higher level play, increased softball IQ, guidance and exposure for players looking to continue their playing career in college. How do we sign up for tryouts?
Registration is completed using the below registration form ahead of tryouts. Currently, registration is OPEN for the 2025-26 season.
We use this registration information to plan for space, evaluators, and to get an idea of how many teams we can field each year. There is not a deadline to register, but we ask that registration is complete prior to attending a tryout.
Do we attend all dates?
You are not required to attend all tryout dates. We offer multiple dates to try to accommodate everyone interested. However, we issue offers on a rolling basis, meaning some offers will go out following the first tryout date, then following the second date, etc.
What if we don’t receive an offer after the first day?
We strongly encourage you to come back for an additional tryout date! Sometimes, coaches and evaluators just need more time to observe players and their skills before issuing an offer.
What to Bring?
Interested players should bring their gloves, cleats, bats, batting helmets, batting gloves, and water! When you arrive at tryouts, you will check in with the registration team, and can begin warming up. Catchers must have their own gear.
What teams will you have?
We plan to have teams at the 10U through 18U levels. For the 2025-26 season, we will have the following teams:

What will the schedule look like?
Generally, our teams participate in approximately 10 tournaments throughout the year, including one or two fall tournaments, a winter tournament, and the summer tournament schedule. Additionally, our teams practice 1x-2x per week throughout the offseason. For winter, we work with area facilities to provide indoor space for our teams.
