Revolution Midwest Program

The Midwest Program is part of Madison Revolution, and was created to serve as a way for players to compete in high-level tournaments, gain meaningful exposure, and receive individual recruiting guidance to help them reach their individual softball goals. Revolution wanted to create a place for players who want to play in college or reach the next level, and that’s exactly what Midwest does!

Midwest, spearheaded by Coach Emi and Coach CeeCee, began in the 2024-25 season with one 16U team. Headed into the 2026-27 season, Midwest will have two teams: one at 16U and one at 18U. The goal of Midwest is to provide a team for players to compete nationally, gain exposure to the recruiting process, and have fun playing the sport they love!

The Midwest Teams compete in showcase tournaments, qualifier tournaments, and other A/B level competition. Midwest looks for athletes who are both talented and committed to softball, who see themselves playing at the college level, and who are willing to put in the work to get there. The Midwest coaches are committed to providing an environment where players can grow to their full potential, increase their softball IQ, and be competitive at a high level. Additionally, Midwest provides individual recruiting guidance for every step of the college recruitment process. In exchange, Midwest asks for a higher level of commitment from players and families.

MIDWEST FAQ

Q: What if I play a fall or winter sport?

A: We love to support multi-sport athletes. We don’t want you to have to give up something to compete at a high level. However, we do ask that if you are unable to attend practices because of another sport, you communicate that with us ASAP. Ultimately, softball at this level requires more commitment than other teams. We are happy to discuss whether the commitment on this team is the right fit for you!

Q: How do we tryout for the team?

A: For the 2026-27 season, we ask that you please fill out the Midwest tryout registration form and attend tryouts on July 13, 2026. We are happy to arrange additional tryout times if you are unavailable during the tryout. We will host a small tryout for the Midwest Program on July 13 at McGaw Park in Fitchburg, WI.

Q: Can I still play Revolution if I do not play for Midwest?

A: Absolutely! You are more than welcome to tryout for Midwest and/or another Revolution team. You are not required to tryout for Midwest if you want to play for Revolution.

Q: What does the tournament schedule look like?

A: The schedule changes a bit each year. Check out our Midwest team page to see our current team’s schedule. In 2024-25, Midwest played in PGF, USSSA, NAFA and USA tournaments in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Minnesota, including four showcase-style tournaments.
